Have you ever wanted to know what an additional bathroom is worth, or what backing to a busy street does to the value of a home?  What’s the value of a finished basement, or how do you determine what a walk-out basement is worth?  Do you ever ask yourself this question; My Sellers spend a ton of money upgrading their home, what will buyers pay for all of these improvements?   If you are interested in better understanding value and how to utilize appraisal valuation techniques then this class is for you.  Get the knowledge and tools to prepare an accurate and effective CMA.  Gain the knowledge to make better business decisions by understanding values.

Objective

1)      Agents will learn how to break down a home into its value components.

2)     Agents will learn how to compare a home to homes that have recently sold and to make the necessary adjustments.

3)      Agents will learn the techniques to determine what adjustments are necessary and how to come up with the appropriate adjustment amount.

4)     Enhance the agent’s ability to prepare and deliver accurate Competitive Market Analysis to clients and customers.

5)      Give the agent a valuation platform to make good business decisions.

About the Instructor: Steve Olson

Steve is a Realtor who is both a Licensed Real Estate Broker and Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser. He has over 20 years experience in Real Estate Sales and Appraising. He has earned the CIPS, RAA, TRC and MCP designations. He served as Chairman of the Board for the South Metro Denver Realtor Association in 2007.
